Urgent!!

by the end of the month every 18+ years old mauritian must BY LAW have the new biometric id card. In the process give their all their finger prints to be stored in a database own by a private company. Citizens has been rising protest but under the threat of not getting access to free health care, no right to vote, no bank account, no purchase, any rights that makes you a citizen of the Republic of Mauritius will be striped. Note that about 300 face recognition cameras will be place in the main towns by December. Any authority have the right to stop you on the street and ask you to show your ID. 

Is Mauritius still a democracy?

By 30 september if you don’t have a biometric ID you will be a criminal and put to jail (5 years or Rs100 000 fine)

After the 30 september i won’t be a citizen of Mauritius.

Updates: There a case in the supreme court that took place last week, I attended the hearing since it is open to the public, it was my first time in a court. My first thought was " is this a joke?" the judges looked like they don't really care, the hearing was long and kept dragging. When Ish Sookun(please check his blog hacklog.in/)
explaining that there the Govt website didn't have security, the other party kept interupting asking silly questions like "What is a web portal" or "what is a database?" i find it mind blowing that the citizens of mauritius data's will be in the hands of people who doesn't know what is a database. Ish wanted to make a presentation with images and video it was denied, told them that with a card reader the data on any id card can be captured and the card reader have be purchased legallity on the internet. He wanted to do a demonstration it was denied. Today the other party said that there's no GPS on the ID cards so they can't track people with it. What about the RFI chip in the card?

Today after talking with some friends they said : "Come on you have a birth certificate, a passport, so you are still consider a citizen!"
Yes i do but then i will still not being able to vote in the coming election in mid December, still don't have access to health care and legal papers. This is so mess up!!
